Yesterday was a beautiful day.
It was warm and sunny.
Nikki and I took the younger 3 girls and
headed to Kroger for some much needed groceries.
Mother Hubbard's cupboards were very bare.
We got some great deals.
Organic brown eggs:
reg. price: $4.19
on special: $2.09
Organic milk:
reg price: $5.29
on special: $2.69
32 oz. Vanilla Yogurt:
reg price: $2.59
on special: $1.29
A couple weeks ago, we got several
containers of Stonyfield Organic yogurt
32 oz.
reg. price: $3.69
on special: $1.89
We stopped for ice cold drinks and dollar sandwiches
from MickeyDs on the way home.
We ate them at the picnic tables in the backyard.
We've been eating lots of our meals outside.
Everytime the weather is good, we set the tables outside.
We've already eaten several lunches and suppers out.
The younger girls even enjoy taking their cereal and
sitting outside for breakfast.
It's really nice.
In the afternoon, we spent more time outside.
Alli and I played 2 games of Clue.
Alli loves Clue.
She won both of them.
Today, I have promised to pay Clue Jr.
w/ Miss Abby.
We will be playing inside though, because it's rainy.
And it's supposed to storm today too.
Today will be a good day for some games and maybe
a movie or two too.
Nikki and I played Scrabble.
2 games.
I won the first one.
We tied the 2nd one.
After our games, Nikki cooked steaks on the grill.
Rosie made a delicious salad.
We tried a new dressing for the salad.
Yum!!
This last pic is of my new bench.
It was a present from my hubby and kiddos
for Mother's Day.

What a nice day you had. We eat *meals* just like you do from McDonalds.....the dollar menu.
