Hi....another quiet day here today......
My mom and sister stopped over yesterday....Mom had picked up a couple books for me on losing a child so they brought them over.......I have already started reading them.....looks they will both be good books......lots of reassuring words and comforting thoughts too.....I want to be sure to highlight some of the parts that really hit home for me, so that on our really bad days, I can find them easily.....
When Mom left, she took Natalie and Nikki over to her house for a couple hours....they stayed and had dinner....Later in the evening we all went over and picked them up......Mom had made creme puffs, so after a quick snack and a quick visit, we came home, and tried getting everyone settled down for an early night....However, I think it still ended up being close to 11 pm before we managed to get anyone to sleep....ugh.....these late nights are making it hard to get up in the morning......
Today, we have no plans......the sun is shining...Bob said it is supposed to be in the 40's today and tomorrow...so the bit of warmer weather will be nice...maybe the sunshine today will help all our moods.......although I think he did say some rain for the weekend.....yuck! Muddy dogs, antsy kids...no place to go...nothing much to do.......might be gonna be a long weekend.....

Hey Karen! I'm glad you were able to get the books you wanted, and I hope you can find comfort in the words and messages. It's real sunny here today too, although, I think we're supposed to have a nice weekend too. Sorry. The storm you'll be getting this weekend, I guess is supposed to bring us some snow on Tuesday, I think. I hope so. I love the snow and cold. Have a peaceful, cozy weekend!!--Karen

I think it was 48 degrees in Chicago today. It was a nice change of pace.
I hope you guys have a good weekend.

We hope you are feeling well and healing. I was ministered to "Empty cradle full Heart" and by Jack Hayfords book. " I 'll hold you in heaven."
The weather here 70--I would like to have some cold but only for a couple of weeks:)
So glad to hear from you and see that you are surrounded by family to help and attend to you. Blessings to you.
I hope you have a sunny week next week ...it is nice to enjoy getting outside for a bit. ~Karen
