  • Hi everyone....not much going on here, as usual these days.....I haven't even gotten in the shower yet......moving very slow.......kids are all up and moving.....

Rosie and Alli are upstairs playing a game....Rosie is counting down the minutes until her Daddy gets home and takes her to buy the new Josh Turner Cd.....it comes out today, and she has birthday money to spend....

Bob took the kids to the library yesterday.......Natalie got some books, as did Alli, Jake and Rosie......Jake even got some books about the Pistons and the Shock for Nikki.....They got some books for Abby too......Since I have been reading bedtime stories to the little ones again, I need some variety......Of course, they still end up w/ a favorite pick, and I end up reading the same book 3 nights in a row.....Abby really liked a monkey book that we had last time.....and just took back yesterday.....Might pick this one up for her birthday....it was kinda cute~(posting it as a current read at the top of this post...)

Natalie made some cookies yesterday......chocolate w/ white chips...since we are now out of chocolate chips.....I made breaded pork chops for dinner last night...they hit the spot....Bob bought way too many pork chops and we thawed them all out.  I only made half of them last night, as they wouldn't all fit in the oven, so we are having pork chops for dinner again tonight.....I just gotta think of a different way to make them......

Now I just gotta get moving......it is so hard to get motivated these days......One day we  do so well, and get up and get alot done....the next day we fall behind again......

Anyway, try to have a good day everyone.

    Karen

  • Pork chops, hmmm?  Barbecued maybe?  Lemon peppered?  You're making me hungry!  Caitlin took all my books back to the library yesterday.... Now I need to go so I'll have something to read.....  Have a great day!  ~Lori

  • We had pork chops last night too!  I really like to put them in the crock pot with some cream of mushroom soup.  I serve it with mashed potatoes and use the soup as gravy.  Yummy!  Brandon prefers them just fried with some seasoned salt on them.  Barbequed is good too.

It's good to see you back!  I'll continue to keep you in my prayers.  (((HUGS)))

  • We have that book in our library basket right now!!  I haven't read it yet though.  Dontcha love when they find a favorite.  :o )  There's a whole thread of recipes for pork chops on the 'shed.  I even shared one.  ;o)  (((Praying for you all)))

  • Who is Josh Turner??
Pork Chops sound good.  I wish I had some in my freezer.

  • So glad you are posting.  Love your gift of writing and the children are so sweet.  I receive valuable info on schooling too.

I do not know who Josh Turner is either??

We learned a song out of Rev. 21 this year--I do not know how to add music to my blog( or even if I can)--it is an awesome song and enables an old bird like me to memorize scripture easily.
