  • Hey Karen,

You don’t know me …my son is friend to the son of oneteenonetot (Eileen) and I found you on the SAHM blogring.
I read through a few of your entries while waiting for the rest of my family to get ready for church one Sunday morning. :)
I have been praying for your little girl …is her name Abby
…who has had the tests done recently? We also homeschool and
have four children almost 18 to just turned 9. Three boys, one princess… :) We live in Tennessee. Just thought I’d say “hey” by the way my name is Karen too … :) My blog is called “dynamic_mom” my oldest son set it up and named it for me …I don’t think I would consider myself very “dynamic” but even so may it become so …peace.

  • Karen,

It’s me again …Karen :) I really like the photo of Abby…sweet little girl …how old is she? What are they looking for in the tests? She looks quite healthy here …beautiful family … :) Do you have …I think it was …seven children? That is great …you are very blessed mommy! I hope all is well with your emotional health …I know it is so hard to not know what is going on with your child’s health. I was experiencing that sort of thing recently with our thirteen year old son. It turns out he was okay …nothing “pathological” just a ribcage abnormality …which I think actually looks better now …I think his chest was a bit swollen from a rash he had on his chest. But a year previously he had been x-rayed due to chest pain so …well I was concerned and praying alot for him and giving him back to God, so to speak, it was hard but I was given peace …which in itself speaks of the power of God. I’ve been thinking about your little Abby and hope all will be fine and thinking of you while you “wait…wait…wait” for the results. That is one of the hardest things to do sometimes, at least you have lots of support and hugs with your big family…. :)
