  Good Morning!

  
  

  Very late start to the day today…….bad headache kept me in bed until 9:30 a.m….. By then it was pretty much gone……came downstairs to get some breakfast and found out that the kids had already gotten into the first of 25 pints of strawberry jam that we made yesterday…….So I joined them w/ an english muffin and a cup of coffee……yummy!!! Yup, we did manage to get some jam this year……..talk about waiting til the last minute though…… Anyway, we have lots of yummy jam all done……..I do have to say, that Natalie did most of the work……..she is a real hard worker…… We also made 12 quarts of pickles………haven’t tasted them yet, so hoping they are gonna be good.…Rosie was a big help w/ the pickles too…..Again, Natalie did most all the work, w/ some help from me, and Rosie……..I am hoping to get some more from the farmer’s market this weekend and make some bread and butter ones also….. Bob also wants us to do some peaches, and some peach jam……and then it’s on to applesauce…….

  
  

  Friday night we went to my parents house…….took Jake fishing……..Bob and Aaron went to a sporting goods store……Aaron spent a gift certificate that he got for his Confirmation back in May…..Bob bought a bunch of new arrows for the kids bows…….

  
  

  Saturday night a few of us went back to my parents …We took some fresh zucchini bread that I made from some zucchini my sister gave me from her garden….(no zucchini from our garden yet, though)…….

  
  

  Not much planned today…….Jake has a dr. appt. later this afternoon…….but Bob is coming home early and taking him in for me…Hopefully they will also let him know Abby’s test results from last week…… I am supposed to call and make my dr. appt too…..I still haven’t went and yesterday I hit the 12 week mark…..I just sooooo do not want to go……….All the dr.’s that I have ever went to before are no longer practicing, have left town, one even passed away…..There are only 2 dr.’s here in town to choose from, and I don’t know either of them……but I know I really need to get in there, so I have resolved to make the appt. this week……maybe……
