Good Morning everyone,
Yesterday, I was sick in bed all day w/ a horrible headache, and since I had very limited options on what I could take, I mainly just had to wait it out, which took until sometime last night……but today is another day, and I am headache free so far…..just feel like I’ve been sick for a week…..
The kids all did really well yesterday on their own……got their chores done, and got schoolwork done all on their own…..
Today will be more of the same……chores and schoolwork…..
On Monday I told them no tv. until Friday…..it seems to me that we have been watching way too much….. we dug out all our games and spent the day playing games w/ each other….I played yahtzee w/ Jake, Clue w/ Aaron, Outburst Jr. and Scattergories Jr. w/ Rosie, Candyland and checkers w/ Alli, and dominoes w/ Natalie…and then Uno w/ Bob……Nikki was really into a book, so she didn’t play a game…….Well, it must have been fun, cuz they all played some more games yesterday while I was sick…..Battleship, more dominoes, Sorry,…..I think I am gonna keep the games out for awhile, and see if they spend some more time playing those than watching tv…..Aaron has even decided to read a book, which is “big” news around here…he would much rather watch tv or be on the computer…….
I did give special permission for the girls to watch the new Disney Ice Princess movie that just came out on video/dvd…….they have been waiting for it forever..Bob went to all the video stores in town, and they were all already rented out, so he went to Walmart and bought the dvd for them……so they did watch that last night, up in their room w/ a big bowl of popcorn……
Well, that’s the most I’ve typed in forever, so I guess enough rambling for me…..
